If you were an animal, what would you be and why?
The purpose of today's lesson is to understand that when we leave this earth, we should leave at our highest level of Blestination! God blesses us with the power to be a blessing. God's statement about us come with the power. He just doesn't wish you well, He empowers you to do well.
Genesis 12:3 NLT I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families on earth will be blessed through you.
Blestination: God's predetermined plan to bless us and take us to a place that He can bless others through us. Describes the greatest place of blessing (resources, anointing) and influence so that we can connect people to Him.
Q1 - We are acting like God when we are speaking blessings over others. What are ways that you can begin speaking blessings over the people around you?
Fruitful: helpful, be productive, do good, cause growth and increase. (When something is fruitful it grows and expands.
Q2 - God blesses us with the ability to be fruitful. Do you feel like you've been producing fruit lately? Why or Why not?
Q3 - How has God empowered you to be a blessing to others? What are some ways you can become fruitful in your life and in the lives of those around you?
Jesus came to restore God's Blestination in our lives. The Blessed life starts with us realizing our need for Him.
Q4 - Do you feel like you've expressed to God how much you need him lately? (Matthew 5:3 NLT God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for him, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.)
Q5 - Things like offense, anger, hate, and bitterness can cause us to lose our blestination because it corrupts our perspective. What are ways that you can protect your heart from becoming impure with offense? (Matthew 5:8 NLT God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God.)
Q6 - The only way we'll stay on course with our Blestination is by living a life of love and forgiveness. Is there anyone you feel like you still need to forgive?
Declaration: Have everyone repeat this together: "I am called to be a blessing wherever I go!"
Practice being a blessing to someone in need this week. You will come across several needs this week, so do the best that you can do to meet a need and share God's love.
