Word

“Serving = Fulfillment”

You have somehow found your way connected to The Way. Whether you attend service faithfully, or you are a part of these C-Groups, in some way you have been connected to the church. Why? Because in some way, the church has opened its arms to you and welcomed you in.

You are a special member of the body of Christ. There are times we may not feel that way, but it is true because the Bible says that about you.

1 CORINTHIANS 12:12-14 NLT 12 The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ. 13 Some of us are Jews, some are Gentiles, some are slaves, and some are free. But we have all been baptized into one body by one Spirit, and we all share the same Spirit. 14 Yes, the body has many different parts, not just one part.

Q1 - Have you ever felt like an insignificant part of the body? What made you feel this way?

Q2 - Do you believe that you are an important part of the body of Christ? What makes you believe that?

Q3 - Have you ever prayed and told God you wanted to be used by Him? How did He answer you?

DEUTERONOMY 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.

Q4 - Why do you think it is important to step out of your comfort zone when serving in ministry?

Q5 - Describe a time you stepped out of your comfort zone to serve in ministry.

Q6 - If you have not yet served in a ministry, what is one place you can see yourself serving in?

Sometimes, all God is waiting for is for us to do something. Instead of waiting and trying to figure out what we are supposed to do, just step out and do something, and witness God’s power move. The power doesn’t come until you step out.

ACTS 6:8 NIV Now Stephen, a man full of God’s grace and power, performed great wonders and signs among the people.

Q7 - You don’t need power to step out, but when you step out you will receive power. Is it encouraging to know that God will empower you to do great works for His kingdom?

Q8 - Describe someone in the church who has left an impact on your life?

Q9 - What kind of impact do you want to have in people’s lives with God’s love?

Our goal is to launch a church in Tijuana, Mexico! Right now we have over 60 men in our men’s home in Mexico. One person in particular was found addicted, with a severe injury when he was run over by a diesel truck. He is now rehabilitated, and in our men’s home in Mexico! Let’s support our new church launch in Mexico and the lives that are currently being impacted.

Father, help me to trust you with your plan for my life. Give me the courage and the passion to serve wherever you need me. Thank you for choosing me and for making me a special part of the body. I know my gift is important in the Kingdom of God, and I will use it faithfully. Thank you for empowering me to serve and to love others with your love! Give me the boldness to step out of my comfort zone, and to trust in your perfect will for my life! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
