Icebreaker: Fill in the blank, “It would be a miracle if__________________ came to Easter service this year!” Then make a list of every name and use it for your weekly application.

Purpose: The purpose of this lesson is to give us an in-depth perspective on the power of inviting someone to church and God’s reasons behind it.

Main Scripture
“So his master said, ‘Go out into the country lanes and behind the hedges and urge anyone you find to come, so that the house will be full.” Luke 14:23 NLT

Discussion: God wants His house full. The scripture says the master said to go invite anyone to come. That master is Jesus and He’s speaking to us! The revival is in our mouth! The more we speak on behalf of God to His people the more we are fulfilling our calling as prophets to the nations. A Prophet is not some scary mystical person. It’s simply one who speaks on behalf of God. We do not have a better time than now to speak God’s word and invite everyone we meet. With every invitation is another opportunity for someone to find salvation and a church home. Let’s be used by God and help someone come to know him today.

Q1 - How do you feel about the word “prophet”? What does it mean to you?

Q2 - How do you feel about the word “revival”? What does it mean to you?

Three people God invites to His house:

1. The Sinner

"Come now, let’s settle this,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool.” Isaiah 1:18 NLT

Q3 - Some sinners don’t like Jesus because he is misrepresented. What are some ways Jesus is misrepresented?

Q4 - How can we make someone who is in sin feel loved and not judged, like we want to “straighten them out”?

2. the thirsty

“Is anyone thirsty? Come and drink—even if you have no money! Come, take your choice of wine or milk—it’s all free! Why spend your money on food that does not give you strength? Why pay for food that does you no good? Listen to me, and you will eat what is good. You will enjoy the finest food. “Come to me with your ears wide open. Listen, and you will find life. I will make an everlasting covenant with you. I will give you all the unfailing love I promised to David.” Isaiah 55:1-3 NLT

Q5 - What are some ways people are using money to try and quench their thirst?

Q6 - The thirsty have their ears opened. They are waiting for someone to give them the answer that will quench their thirst. Knowing this, what could we say to those that are thirsty?

3. the tired

“Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 NL

Q7 - What does it look like to be tired and in need of a savior?

Q8 - What are some things that you are tired of that you need Jesus to carry for you?

Declaration: I am a prophet because I speak on behalf of the Lord. It is my mission to reach the lost for Jesus Christ. I am called to love the sinner. I am called to bring drink to the thirsty. I am called to bring rest to the tired. As the bride of Christ, I partner with the Holy Spirit to say “Come!” to all who would listen. I will see revival when I open my mouth and invite people to come to the house of God. I am a soul winner! I absolutely will not judge anyone. I will win them over with the love of Jesus.

Application: God uses partnership to invite people. Revelation 22:17 tells us that the Spirit and The Bride say “Come!” The Spirit is the Holy Spirit and the bride is us. Take some special time out each morning this week to partner with the Holy Spirit and pray for each person from your miracle list in our ice breaker. Then make it your mission to invite your miracle someone from your list. You can do this!
