    1. Candy and Games for the kids!

    2. Live DRAMA!

Main Scripture

Genesis 12:1-3 NLT The Lord had said to Abram, “Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father’s family, and go to the land that I will show you. 2 I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others. 3 I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families on earth will be blessed through you.”

How do we live the blessed life?

  1. Walk with the Lord

Q1- What do you think it looks like to walk with the Lord?

Genesis 39:2-3 NLT The LORD was with Joseph, so he succeeded in everything he did as he served in the home of his Egyptian master. Potiphar noticed this and realized that the LORD was with Joseph, giving him success in everything he did.

Q2 - What made Joseph so successful in everything that he did?

Q3 - How can you begin to apply this same principle in your life?

Q4 - What area of your life are you looking for the most success?

  2. Listen and Obey!

James 1:22 NLT But don't just listen to God's word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.

Q5 - Why do you believe the power is in obedience and not in listening?

John 15:11 ERV I have told you these things so that you can have the true happiness that I have. I want you to be completely happy.

Q6 - If God told us we can be full of joy, why are some Christians miserable?

Q7 - Share with the group a time in your life that you obeyed a word, even though it was hard.

Chapter 2 - “What Test?”

Tithing - offering to God the first tenth of our increase or income - is a biblical concept originating before the Law and continuing through the New Testament. Tithing is a test of our love for, trust in, and obedience to our Heavenly Father.

Malachi 3:8-9 NKJV “Will a man rob God?
Yet you have robbed Me!
But you say,
‘In what way have we robbed You?’
In tithes and offerings.
9 You are cursed with a curse,
For you have robbed Me,
Even this whole nation.

Obeying God’s Word through tithing breaks the curse and invites God’s blessings and provision for our lives and finances. It is a test. Will you pass the test?

[Q8] Many believers struggle when it comes to tithing. Why do you think this happens? What are some of the barriers or misunderstandings that hinder believers from tithing?

[Q9] Have you tended to view tithing as a burden or a benefit? What practical steps could you take to keep the benefits of tithing in mind?

Malachi 3:10 NLT Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do," says the LORD of Heaven's Armies, "I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won't have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!

God has put us to the test with our tithing, but did you know that God challenges man to put Him to the test too? Any time someone says “Test me!” they’re showing that they are very confident in their word. Have you ever put God to the test? Why or why not? If not, try it today for the first time. If you have, take it to another level, because He is faithful to deliver his promises!

What are we giving towards?
Our goal is to build a playground at our Arrowhead Campus. This is a big project, but it does not weigh so much when we all do our part. Here’s how we can give.

1. Download The Way World Outreach App

  • Then Click Give

  • Select "Care Group Offering" fund

  • Write down the group leader's name

2. Or you can Text to Give by:

Declaration Prayer:

Father, give me the courage, trust, and faith in Your goodness to bring the whole tithe into Your storehouse. Give me the fuller revelation that when I tithe, Jesus Himself receives it. And put in me a sensitive, generous heart that promptly responds when Your Holy Spirit nudges me to give and share from the resources you have put in my trust. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Now that we are trusting God by bringing Him our tithe, let’s be aware of the way God blesses us this week. Write some things down to share with the group next week.

Note for Leaders: Take prayer requests and praise reports. Keep a good record of this. Follow up on prayer requests and celebrate praise reports.

Take attendance by writing down who was here today (either on your phone or on paper) and send that information to:
