We have great things coming!
The Big Day! is THIS SUNDAY December 16th - Let’s be ready to bring in our pledges so that we can get the building in our name and continue reaching lives for Jesus!
Come celebrate Christmas with us Sunday December 23rd during our morning services. The Big Christmas Giveaway will be that night at 6pm.
Circle: God gives us a vision, we believe and act on the vision,
NUMBERS 13:1-3 NLT
1 The Lord now said to Moses, 2 “Send out men to explore the land of Canaan, the land I am giving to the Israelites. Send one leader from each of the twelve ancestral tribes.” 3 So Moses did as the Lord commanded him. He sent out twelve men, all tribal leaders of Israel, from their camp in the wilderness of Paran.
Every vision we receive from God will have its set of obstacles that will test our faith. In order to achieve the vision, we must be willing to leave our comfort zones and be stretched. As we’re striving to achieve the vision, always remember that best is yet to come.
Q1 - How have you managed to get through obstacles in the past?
Q2 - What are some of the most valuable lessons have you learned from these obstacles?
#1 - God GIVES US A VISION
A God vision is a promise, not a suggestion. When God give you a vision, He is not teasing you, He is promising you.
Q3 - Share with the group. What is some vision God has given you for your life?
Q4 - What do you do to make sure you hold onto the vision and not let it go?
We receive vision through reading the word, through prayer, and through dreams.
Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Q5 - What promise from God’s word is something that you stand on?
#2 - WE BELIEVE AND ACT ON THE VISION
Numbers 13:26-29 They reported to the whole community what they had seen and showed them the fruit they had taken from the land. 27 This was their report to Moses: “We entered the land you sent us to explore, and it is indeed a bountiful country—a land flowing with milk and honey. Here is the kind of fruit it produces. 28 But the people living there are powerful, and their towns are large and fortified. We even saw giants there, the descendants of Anak! 29 The Amalekites live in the Negev, and the Hittites, Jebusites, and Amorites live in the hill country. The Canaanites live along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea and along the Jordan Valley.
Every vision comes with natural obstacles, problems, and enemies. It’s a part of the growing process.
Q6 - What challenges are you facing when it comes to acting on the vision?
Q7 - Do you think someone can believe in the vision but not act on the vision? Why or why not?
#3 - god makes the vision come to pass
God is the one who is going to make the vision come to pass, so it’s important that we keep our thoughts fixed on HIM! Whenever negative thoughts come up, we need to tell those thought to SHUT UP and then take action on the vision!
Q8 - What are some common negative thoughts that we need to silence?
Q9 - What thoughts should you replace them with in order to help you accomplish the vision?
new Care Project of the Month: christmas gift for inner city children
Every year, The Way World Outreach becomes a place of hope for parents with little boys and little girls who want a gift this Christmas. Many of our families in the inner city can’t afford to give their children gifts for Christmas. Let’s cover that cost and make sure no child goes without experiencing the joy of a gift this Christmas.
Each Group’s goal is 50 gifts! (each gift is roughly $10 a piece)

Father, help me be a blessing during this Christmas season. God, help me to go beyond my comfort zone and stretch my faith. Speak to me with a vision for the upcoming year, and help me find a word for the new year. Thank you, In Jesus’ name, Amen!
Take time this week to pray and ask God to show you the extravagant gift you can give to Him. Let’s prepare to bring our pledges December 16th to begin the process of purchasing our building.
Note for Leaders: Take prayer requests and praise reports. Keep a good record of this. Follow up on prayer requests and celebrate praise reports.
