What was one thing you received from any of our impartation services this past week?
The purpose of this lesson is to get the perspective of God in our lives!
2 Kings 6:15-17 NKJV
And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?”
16 So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” 17 And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
Perspective: attitude we take towards anything in life based on where you’re standing (your point of view)
Q1 - Have you ever been in a situation where something hits you by surprise that makes you ask "oh my gosh! what am I going to do?"
Q2 - A lot of us are praying for the things around us to change, instead of praying for our perspectives to change. Why do you think this is a backwards way of thinking?
Q3 - In the scripture we see 2 different perspectives. The servant had a pair of eyes in fear, but Elisha had a pair of eyes that didn't even break a sweat. How much does our perspective change our outcomes?
Q4 - Your perspective is your reality. Even if it's a lie, it becomes true to you. What perspectives in your life may be holding you back from being all that God has called you to be?
Q5 - Perspective determines where you stand. You may not need to change the circumstance, just change your eyes. What in life do you believe influences "the eyes" that you have right now?
Ephesians 6:12 NKJV For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Q6 - We sometimes blame people/things that are not actually the problem. Are there things/people you've been thinking are a problem but may not be the real problem?
Q7 - God is limited to the perspective you have of him. Do you believe God can do an impossible and supernatural thing in your life?
I declare that I will allow God to change my perspective! I will love life with the eyes and perspective of God. I declare that God is all powerful and sovereign in my life. I thank God for the new perspective he has given me!
3 ways to make an impact:

3. Free Church App
Pay attention to the new perceptive that you have received after tonight. Don't look at things from your own persecutive, but instead look at everything from God's perspective.
