Who are you believing will get saved during this Easter season?

The purpose of this lesson is to build our faith so that we can receive everything God has for us!

Main Scripture:

Suddenly, a man with leprosy approached him and knelt before him. "Lord" the man said, "if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean." Jesus reached out and touched him, "I am willing," he said. "Be healed!" And instantly the leprosy disappeared. (Matt 8: 2-3 NLT)

Over and over in scripture we see a pattern for the miraculous. God always confirms His word with signs following. As we study the scriptures, we can be assured that God is still a God of miracles, and His Word will empower us to walk in the supernatural everyday!

Miracle: Something that only God can do!

1. The teaching and preaching of God's Word.

        a. The Word of God is the seed for a miracle.

When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching, for he taught with real authority- quite unlike their teachers of religious law. (Matt 7:28 NLT).

Q1 - What is something that amazes you about God?

Q2 - How does the Word of God build our faith?

Q3 -  Jesus taught with authority. Discuss what it means for the Word of God to be an authority in your life.

2. Bold Faith

         a. We don't place our faith in anything but Christ.

So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ (Romans 10:17 NLT)

Q4- What miracle do you need in your life?

Q5-  What happens when we put our expectation in someone/something else?

             b. Bold faith worships boldly

Suddenly the man with leprosy approached him and knelt before him…(Matthew 8: 2 NLT)

Q6-  How does worship prepare you for a miracle?

            c. Bold Faith Asks Boldly

You want what you don't have, so you scheme and kill to get it. You are jealous of what others have, but you can't get it, so you fight and wage war to take it away from them. Yet you do not have what you want because you don't ask God for it (James 4:2 NLT).

Q7- Why is prayer sometimes a last resort? Why don't we turn to God first?

            d. Bold faith proclaims Christ's ability boldly

"Lord," the man said, "if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean."

Q8- Discuss a time in your life where you have seen God do a miracle. Do you think he can do it again?

I declare that the Lord is the same yesterday, today, and forever! He is powerful, and He will do a miracle in my life. I declare that I will have bold faith. I will worship boldly, I will ask boldly, and I will proclaim the goodness of God in my life!

Spend some time praying for your loved ones this week that need to be saved. Thank God for the miracle!
