- Paul quoted Isaiah to show that God’s salvation was not just for the Jews but for all people, including the Gentiles.
- Some of the Jews in Rome rejected Paul’s message, but he didn’t let their response stop him. He declared that the Gentiles would accept the Good News.
- This reminds us that God’s love and salvation are for everyone. We are called to share the Gospel with everyone, regardless of their background or initial response.
Romans 10:12-13 (NLT) - 12 Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect. They have the same Lord, who gives generously to all who call on him. 13 For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
- When we're aware of it, we will see that God puts people in our paths to share the gospel with.
