John 14:1 (NLT) -“Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.”
- Jesus spoke directly to the fear and anxiety that all of us face.
- He knew that His disciples were about to face a very troubling circumstance – watching Him die on a cross! Still, He called them to trust, not to panic.
- Our comfort doesn’t come from a change in circumstances, but by trusting in our unchanging God.
- The problem may not change, but your perspective can.
Isaiah 26:3 (NLT) – “You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!”
-
- You can have a trusting heart or a troubled heart. The choice is yours.
