“BUILDING A VISION” (pt 3)

Truth 1 - A PRE-REQUISITE TO SEE A VISION COME TO PASS IS DESIRE.

Everything starts with desire. First desire then fulfillment. 

We will never see a vision come to pass if we do not first have a passionate undeniable desire for Gods will and Gods people.
The faint hearted and apathetic will not receive clear vision from God or see the fulfillment of Gods will and plan realized through their lives. That is why the enemy wants to corrupt our desires so that he can corrupt our outcomes. Wrong desires end up with wrong outcomes. A true visionary Gets His desires and vision from God. True visionaries have passionate and undeniable desire to accomplish what they envision.

Formula for Fulfillment of Vision

Desire (Who/burden/Passion/Why) = Vision (What/ = Plan
(How/Steps/solution/strategies) = Action/obedience = Favor
= Persistence/faithfulness = Fulfillment/Success

2 STEPS TO GETTING A VISION AND SEEING IT COME TO PASS.

STEP #1- GOD GIVES A NEW HEART WITH HIS DESIRES.

Before we get a clear vision from God, He first transforms our hearts to desire to know and do His will. God gives Kingdom vision, to hearts that desire to do the Kings will. 

The first miracle that happens before a vision is given is the miracle of God giving us a heart that is burdened for what and who He is burdened for.

Ezekiel 36:26-27 (NIRV) 26 I will give you new hearts. I will give you a new spirit that is faithful to me. I will remove your stubborn hearts from you. I will give you hearts that obey me. 27 I will put my Spirit in you. I will make you want to obey my rules. I want you to be careful to keep my laws.

A. A TRANSFORMED HEART LOVES KNOWING AND OBEYING THE COMMANDS OF GOD.

The commands of God are not a burden but a delight. We know our hearts are not right when ministry turns into a burden and challenges become overwhelming. It is no longer a joy.

1 John 5:3 (HCSB) For this is what love for God is: to keep His commands. Now His commands are not a burden,

Insight: A transformed heart says: “ I enjoy, delight in doing your will. I love serving God and obeying His commands. All I want to do is please God and carry His will on earth. I love what He loves and hate what He hates. I love making disciples of Jesus Christ. I love sharing my testimony and Teaching others the wisdom of Gods Word. I love seeing souls saved and being baptized. I love sacrificially giving and laying down my life down so others can know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.” 

B. ONLY AFTER GOD HAS TRANSFORMED OUR HEARTS TO WANT WHAT HE WANTS DOES HE PROMISE TO GIVE US WHAT WE WANT.

The pre-requisite for God giving us the desires of our heart is us desiring Him and His will being done above every other desire. In other Words- our desires have become His desires.

Psalms 37:4 (NCV) Enjoy serving the Lord, and he will give you what you want.(CEV) Do what the Lord wants, and he will give you your heart's desire.

C. BEFORE VISION IS GIVEN AND DESIRES FULFILLED LOYALTY IS TESTED.

We will never see vision fulfilled until we first live lives a that desire to fulfill His will.

Psalms 145:19 (AMP) He will fulfill the desire of those who fear and worship Him with awe-inspired reverence and obedience. . (CEV) You satisfy the desires of all your worshipers. . . (NET) He satisfies the desire of his loyal followers; he hears their cry for help and delivers them.

Ex. Joseph's loyalty was tested.
Genesis 39:7-10 (NLT) 7 and Potiphar’s wife soon began to look at him lustfully. “Come and sleep with me,” she demanded. 8 But Joseph refused. “Look,” he told her, “my master trusts me with everything in his entire household. 9 No one here has more authority than I do. He has held back nothing from me except you, because you are his wife. How could I do such a wicked thing? It would be a great sin against God.” 10 She kept putting pressure on Joseph day after day, but he refused to sleep with her, and he kept outof her way as much as possible.

STEP #2- GOD GIVES US A VISION, PLAN AND SUCCESS.

Fulfillment of Vision, prayers answered. - The first prayer we should make- Is Lord give me your heart, your desires. May I desire what you desire. The second prayer Lord give me a vision, plan and make all my plans succeed so that the vision and the desires of my heart be fulfilled.

Psalm 20:4 (AMP) May He grant you your heart’s desire And fulfill all your plans. (GNT) May he give you what you desire and make all your plans succeed.

A. GOD FIRST GAVE NEHEMIAH A BURDEN THEN HE
GAVE HIM A VISION, PLAN AND FULFILLMENT.

Burden/Desire
Nehemiah 1:2-4 (NLT) 2 Hanani, one of my brothers, came to visit me with some other men who had just arrived from Judah. I asked them about the Jews who had returned there from captivity and about how things were going in Jerusalem. 3 They said to me, “Things are not going well for those who returned to the province of Judah. They are in great trouble and disgrace. The wall of Jerusalem has been torn down, and the gates have been destroyed by fire.” 4 When I heard this, I sat down and wept. In fact, for days I mourned, fasted, and
prayed to the God of heaven.

A Supernatural download of Vision and Plan 

This when Gods desire, vision and plan become our desire, vision and plan.

Nehemiah 2:12 (NLT) I slipped out during the night, taking only a few others with me. I had not told anyone about the plans God had put in my heart for Jerusalem. . . 16 The city officials did not know I had been out there or what I was doing, for I had not yet said anything to anyone about “my plans.”

Obedience/action 

Work the plan, carry out instructions

Nehemiah 4:21 (NLT) 21 We worked early and late, from sunrise to sunset. And half the men were always on guard.

Supernatural Fulfillment of Vision. 

Prayers answered. The builders, visionaries build and complete the wall.

Nehemiah 6:15-16 (NLT) 15 So on October 2 the wall was finished—just fifty-two days after we had begun. 16 When our enemies and the surrounding nations heard about it, they were frightened and humiliated. They realized this work had been done with the help of our God.

ACTION STEPS

1) ASK GOD TO GIVE US A RENEWED HEART WITH THE RIGHT DESIRES.

Lord give me your heart, desires and love for you and your people. Give me a heart tune up. Make me aware, caring, vigilante, loving about what you desire.

Psalm 51:10 (TLB) Create in me a new, clean heart, O God, filled with clean thoughts and right desires.

A. WITHOUT THE RIGHT HEART GOD WILL REMOVE US FROM A PLACE OF INFLUENCE AND IMPACT.

We will be has beens.

Revelation 2:4-5 (NLT) 4 “But I have this complaint against you. You don’t love me or each other as you did at first! 5 Look how far you have fallen! Turn back to me and do the works you did at first. If you don’t repent, I will come and remove your lampstand from its place among the churches.

2) ASK GOD TO GIVE US HIS VISION, PLAN AND WISDOM.
Jeremiah 33:3 (Voice) 3 Call to Me, and I will answer you. I will tell you of great things, things beyond what you can imagine, things you could never have known.

3) ASK GOD FOR SUCCESS, FOR THE DESIRES OF OUR HEART.
Nehemiah 1:11 (NLT) O Lord, please hear my prayer! Listen to the prayers of those of us who delight in honoring you. Please grant me success today by making the king favorable to me.

A. BELIEVE- GOD WANTS TO GRANT US THE DESIRES OF OUR HEART. 

Just like God gave JABEZ the desires of His heart, He will do the same for us. When our hearts and motives are pure- God will give us the desires of our heart.

1 Chronicles 4:10 (CEV) 10 One day he prayed to Israel's God, "Please bless me and give me a lot of land. Be with me so I will
be safe from harm.”And God did just what Jabez had asked.
